Hi all,

We’re glad to announce the very first release of XVCL Workbench 1.0 M1.
It's fully compatible with Eclipse Java IDE 3.1 or above.

Summary of features:
    • Wizard to create XVCL projects
    • Wizard to import or link external resources into projects
    • Wizard to create x-frames with option to use namespace syntax (i.e. use prefix xvcl: as in xvcl:adapt, xvcl:insert)
    • Project Explorer to navigate resources within projects
    • Filter facility to show/hide x-frames and non-frames
    • Text Window provides convenient editing features such as syntax highlighting, tab indentation, XML tags completion, and text folding
    • XVCL Syntax Assistant provides context sensitive suggestion of XVCL syntax
    • XVCL Syntax Checker validates the correctness of XVCL documents on-the-fly
    • Content Outline displays structure of the x-frames being opened
    • One click execution of XVCL Processor to generate output files
    • Problems, Tasks, Console views show troubleshooting information
    • and more ... Wink

(Third-party softwares used: JDOM, Crimson XML parser, Xercer XML parser, XML Author, hSQLdb)

Download and installation:
    • Download distribution package here.
    • Unzip the package into “plugins” folder inside Eclipse installation, e.g. c:\Program Files\Eclipse\plugins\
    • Skim through the User's Guide for detail information on essential tasks (recommended)

This Workbench in outdated. Please refer to http://xvcl.comp.nus.edu.sg/forum/viewtopic.php?t=106 for new one, also guide to set up.
